Booking the Garden

The garden is open 2 – 5pm on Sundays and Bank holiday Mondays during April to October. Free Entry & Parking
Known as Ramsey’s best kept secret, the calm and tranquil atmosphere of the Walled Garden creates a wonderful haven, away from the hustle and bustle of a busy lifestyle.
Groups and Clubs
Recently we have welcomed garden clubs, WI’s, U3A groups, a Mother & Baby group and an art class. We also hosted social tea and cake meetings for those isolated during the pandemic.
Group visits
You may have an interest in gardens, gardening or garden history or want a peaceful social time in pleasant surroundings. For a group visit we can offer a talk about the garden and its restoration, discussion of the plants and a garden tour. Refreshments can be arranged
Organised Courses
The Walled Garden is an ideal venue for courses in horticultural skills and gardening training. We have hosted Cambridgeshire Adult Skills ‘Horticultural skills courses’. The greenhouse is a fantastic setting and the garden provides a wealth of teaching material.
Private events
Enveloped in nature, the Walled Garden is the perfect setting for a private social gathering or special ocassion.
