January. A willow tree in the neighbour hood was removed and it's owners kindly donated the chippings..

... which were then used as a mulch on top of the membrane around the fruit bushes. (Many wheelbarrow loads of it!)

February. Preparing the ground for beans.

A general tidy up and disposal of rotten wood frames from beside the north wall.

A great deal of miscellaneous rubbish such as builders waste and old carpets is now removed into a skip.

We knew that the new paths would make a big difference to the look and atmosphere of the garden - somehow it now feels a lot more "cared for" and "tidy"!
